Fireworks Safety
FACT: Fireworks related injuries usually involve hands, fingers, eyes or head.
- Only adults should handle fireworks.
- A bucket or other container of water should be readily accessible when using fireworks.
- Never throw fireworks at another person.
- Never try to re-light fireworks that malfunction.
- Read fireworks labels and carefully follow directions.
- Teach children to “Stop, drop and roll” if their clothes catch on fire.
