Children’s Trust of South Carolina is seeking a full-time Event Planner. The event planner Provides leadership and professional expertise in the planning and implementation of training, program, board and other ad hoc events and functions; will work with the Children’s Trust team, Board of Directors and volunteers to collaboratively plan high quality events and functions; will help to identify and facilitate discussion and decisions about issues affecting events; and will ensure that high standards and strategic priorities are reflected in the planning and presentation of events.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of three years event planning with one year office administrative support experience. .
- Excel at details, manage and organize multiple projects, work independently, and set priorities.
- Have strong communication and writing skills, good judgment, empathy, coachability, organizational skills, adaptability and level-headed attitude; present information concisely and effectively – both verbal and written.
