The Building Prevention video series examines the key elements behind our programmatic work to prevent child abuse and neglect in South Carolina. Each video addresses critical components and strategies that are beneficial in reducing child maltreatment and strengthening prevention efforts in our communities. In this video, Sherri Caldwell, Children’s Trust director of community initiatives, discusses the significance of strengthening families through the application of improved parenting skills, better communications, positive discipline practices, resilience in tough times, and tools to assist children with social skills and relationships.
