Child Passenger Safety Summit Spotlights Life-Saving Work of Car Seat Technicians at Jones Bowen Awards Ceremony.
Columbia, S.C. – As South Carolina’s leader in the prevention of child abuse, neglect and injuries, Children’s Trust is hosting its largest Prevention Conference Oct. 2-3 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Approximately 800 attendees are expected for the biennial two-day event, which brings together social workers, home visitors, counselors, program administrators and other child-serving professionals. With a theme of”Embracing Prevention, Empowering Communities,” the conference will emphasize the role everyone plays in keeping children safe.
