On September 12, Children’s Trust of South Carolina hosted an intimate reception for the Society for South Carolina Children’s founding members. The event, held at the Children’s Trust office, featured refreshments and an introduction to Family Resource Centers from Alek Reaves, family engagement and resource coordinator. The highlight of the evening was when the 23 attendees gathered in the lobby for the unveiling of a plaque installed to commemorate their leadership giving.

The Society for South Carolina Children recognizes individuals, families, or family foundations making annual gifts of $2,500 or more. Their commitment ensures we will be able to sustain prevention programs and services for those who need them most. Members also have opportunities for a deeper relationship with Children’s Trust’s work through program experiences and executive communication.
