Our friends inspire us

We think they will inspire you as well with the big things they do for South Carolina children and families.

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina employee giving

The only South Carolina-owned and operated health insurance carrier held an employee giving campaign during Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month in April 2017. Employees participated in a number of fundraising activities, which included selling $5 Jeans Day badges. They also sent written solicitations and sold tickets to a farm-to-table dinner and silent auction that the company underwrote.

Totals proceeds for the month exceeded $16,400.

Kappa Delta sorority at the University of South Carolina

In the 2016-17 school year, Kappa Delta held Shamrock Week fundraising activities in the fall and spring semesters. A wildly successful letter-writing campaign by the 400 sorority members in the fall led to a check presentation of $77,646 to Children's Trust.

The Shamrock Week efforts in the spring pushed the final number for the school year to just over $101,000, making the sorority our single largest donor.

Molina Healthcare

The health care provider held a series of fundraising events organized by employees in July 2017, and it showed that every effort, big and small, helps children in South Carolina. Between a fried chicken and bake sale, a flea market and plant sale, and cash donations, the organization raised just over $1,000.
