During the 38-minute discussion, Williams touched on the culture and values of Children’s Trust in addition to promoting evidence-based prevention programs such as home visiting, Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), and the Strengthening Families Program, which are providing families and children with much-needed information and resources in communities and counties throughout the state.

“We’re finding the services and programs that meet the needs of the families when they have them,” Williams said.

Children’s Trust serves as the state affiliate for Prevent Child Abuse America and the Annie E. Casey’s Foundation’s KIDS COUNT project. Williams also spoke of the outreach efforts to lawmakers and state agency leaders on the policy front while also engaging large funders and small donors as part of its business model.
