Grantee Digest spotlighted the success of the Community Supports for Young Parents program in a March issue.
The U.S. Health and Human Services’ Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) published its Grantee Digest newsletter March 26, and it featured the work of Children’s Trust in the “Spotlighting Success” segment. The newsletter highlighted the Community Support for Young Parents program administered around the state by Children’s Trust and the South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy through the work of local partners.

“Through funding from the OAH Pregnancy Assistance Fund Program, the Children’s Trust of South Carolina’s Community Support for Young Parents (CSYP) program provides targeted wrap-around services and classes in parenting and other life skills to expectant and parenting teens and young adults. CSYP connects participants to healthcare, workforce training, and educational services while providing one-on-one case management to support children’s development and parents’ health and education. From 2014 to 2017, CSYP made over 1,700 referrals to healthcare providers and other services.”
