Home visitors and child- and family-serving professionals play a vital role in supporting families where they live, work and grow. While this work is deeply rewarding, it also presents unique safety considerations that require thoughtful preparation, awareness and ongoing learning. In this panel discussion, we will hear from experienced professionals who will share practical strategies, real-world lessons and best practices for promoting both staff and family safety in home and community settings. Our goal is to foster a meaningful conversation that equips participants with the tools, insights and confidence to navigate safety challenges while continuing to build trusting relationships with the children and families they serve.

Walk away with tangible resources as well as the knowledge of how to obtain support for yourself and your colleagues who are on the front lines supporting children and families across the state. There will be an opportunity to engage, not only with the presenters through a Q&A, but also with fellow child- and family-serving professionals, so bring your questions, ideas and get ready to make connections in the field!
