This week the Senate Medical Affairs Committee voted to send S.915, a bill that deals with the creation of the Office of Health and Policy, to the Senate floor.
In the House, Ways and Means Budget subcommittees continued to meet. The Healthcare Subcommittee heard this week from the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Commission for the Blind, the Department of Environmental Services, and the Department of Public Health. (The last two departments were formerly combined and known as DHEC).
