Philip Vann, vice chair of Children’s Trust Board of Directors, was recently presented the Yezbak Award for his service to the organization.
The award, which is named for former Board Chair David Yezbak, highlights Vann’s commitment to the prevention of child abuse and neglect in South Carolina.
Philip is an at-large member of the board who also serves as Children’s Trust’s governance committee co-chair. Since joining the board in 2018, Vann has actively supported Children’s Trust during area events, such as Midlands Gives, and has helped build momentum for prevention through community partnerships.
Children’s Trust CEO Sue Williams acknowledged Vann’s support of the organization’s fund development efforts and organizational leadership.
“Philip generously invests his time, money and expertise into our mission,” Williams said. “We’re grateful for how he engages fellow board members in the work and advocates for Children’s Trust in the community.”
Vann is the sixth recipient of the annual award. Erin Pate (2022), Steven Leicht (2021), Tiffany Santagati (2020), Elizabeth Gressette (2019) and Jane Pulling (2018) are the previous honorees.
Philip Vann is a director for Cushman & Wakefield in Columbia, specializing in tenant representation, lease and sales contracts, site selection and financial analysis. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a current member of the Central Carolina Realtors Association, South Carolina Realtors Association and National Realtors Association.
