The Building Prevention video series examines the key elements behind our programmatic work to prevent child abuse and neglect in South Carolina. Each video addresses critical components and strategies that are beneficial in reducing child maltreatment and strengthening prevention efforts in our communities. In this video, Michael Shirley, Children’s Trust director of community and workforce development, discusses the everyday actions that individuals, organizations and communities can take to support families in ways that help them find resources and gain coping strategies in order to parent effectively.
