Senator Katrina Shealy and other panelists will join Children’s Trust Policy Chair Arlene Andrews to preview upcoming legislation and discuss topics such as Paid Family Leave and South Carolina KIDS COUNT data on child well-being.
Elected on a platform that included fighting child abuse and neglect, Senator Shealy is a member of the Joint Citizens and Legislative Committee on Children and has led DSS reform efforts to protect vulnerable children.
