Learning Thursday – Introduction to Adverse Childhood Experiences and Building Resilience

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) can have profound effects on individuals and communities, contributing to long-term challenges such as poor health, difficulty in relationships, and even economic hardship. By better understanding ACEs, we can work together to improve outcomes for children and families and prevent future abuse.

This session provides an introduction to adverse childhood experiences and is part of a longer training on Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences and Building Resilience. Participants will learn about the power of ACEs, how they impact brain development, and how to build resilience in children to overcome them.
