Event information

Protective factors serve as buffers that help parents find resources, identify supports and develop coping strategies so they can parent more effectively, even under stress. The Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework addresses how to build resilience and empower action in your community to prevent child abuse and neglect.

This session is part one of five of our Promoting Protective Factors training. Parental resilience is the ability to manage stress and function well when faced with challenges and adversity. Participants will learn about parental resilience as a protective factor and identify strategies to help build this strength in the families they serve. Attending all sessions is not required to participate.

Registration

Deadline to register is April 30.
