The S.C. Legislature wrapped up most of its work for this year and adjourned last week. Lawmakers will return to work on the budget, redistricting and a handful of other issues as part of the sine die resolution. The Associated Press wrote a story that wrapped up the end of the formal session and explained what’s ahead, such as how to deal with allocations from federal COVID-19 relief money.
There are some bills affecting children and families that will not change until the Legislature reconvenes in January 2022 for the second half of 2021-22 session.
