Child Abuse Prevention Month is our opportunity to celebrate the partnerships that make prevention possible and raise awareness to build the collective responsibility for neglect and abuse prevention.
We thank Gov. McMaster for declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. From the statehouse to your neighborhood, we all must work together to build the systems, communities and relationships that help families help their children.
We celebrate the 180+ partners statewide, including community-based organizations and every S.C. Department of Social Services county office, that stood with us to encourage everyone to be a Champion for Children. We thank all our partners who included us in their proclamation events, shared our materials with families, donated, and hosted countless activities proving child and family well-being is a priority across this great state.
We appreciate this opportunity to stand with you, and we value your partnership in this work – in April and throughout the year. Thank you for being Champions for Children.
