“It takes a village to raise a child, and I didn’t have a village. So when I heard about the Parenting Place, I jumped on the opportunity,” said Upstate mom Nicole Kregg.
The Parenting Place, a Children’s Trust grantee, works to support families and prevent child abuse and neglect in the South Carolina Upstate.
The organization does this by supporting new mothers and their young children through the Healthy Families America home visiting program. Watch the full video.
