On January 11, Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette and the other statewide constitutional officers were sworn in on the State House steps. Gov. McMaster is starting his second full term and is on track to be the longest-serving governor in South Carolina’s history.
During his inaugural address, Gov. McMaster talked about the importance of more education funding, protecting the environment and other issues.
