This two-day, biennial summit is focused on providing a quality learning, networking, and systems building opportunity for home visiting and early childhood interventionists in South Carolina. Attendees will gain strategies for strengthening individual programs and services, network with partners and peers in the field, and collaborate to strengthen the system of family-serving programs throughout the state.

Call for proposals

Content experts, local implementing agencies, and partners are invited to submit a session or poster proposal. Topics of interest can include, but not limited to, the following: Capacity building for early childhood professionals in areas of core competency; innovations in program implementation and community collaboration; and envisioning the future of home visiting in South Carolina. Please complete the proposal form for selection.

Poster Session proposals must be submitted by August 17th, 2018. The call for general and breakout session proposals has ended.

Keynote speaker

Paul-Schmitz

Paul Schmitz builds the collective leadership of organizations and communities to achieve greater social impact through his roles as senior advisor at The Collective Impact Forum and CEO of Leading Inside Out. He is also the author of "Everyone Leads: Building Leadership from the Community Up." As the former CEO of Public.

Allies, he helped a diverse group of 5,000 young adults begin careers working for community and social change. Paul, a faculty member of The Asset-Based Community Development Institute, was a social innovation advisor to the Obama White House, and he has been named three separate years to The Nonprofit Times list of the 50 most influential nonprofit leaders in America. He lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his wife and five children.

Exhibitor Information

Exhibitor tables are available on Day 2, September 18 of the Home Visiting Summit for $75. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the final session ends at 4:15 p.m.

  • Each exhibitor will receive one six foot skirted table
  • Breakfast and lunch for one person is included in registration fee. If you need an additional set of meals for a second individual, they are available for $41.
  • Children’s Trust of South Carolina/USC Alumni Center is not responsible for vendor/exhibitor merchandise and we ask that all tables be staffed at all time.
  • Electricity is not available.
  • All tables are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
  • Set up time is no earlier than 7:30 a.m. on September 18.
