Members of the Children’s Trust Board of Directors recently elected officers for the coming year.
- Philip Vann, chair. Vann is an at-large member of the board of directors and previously served as vice chair and as co-chair of the governance committee. He is a director at Cushman & Wakefield.
- Tracy D. Lamb, vice chair. Tracy represents the 3rd Congressional District. She is a partner/vice president of Chief Services & Security Solutions in the Upstate.
- Shawan Gillians, secretary/treasurer. She is an at-large member of the board and will continue in her role as secretary-treasurer. Gillians is the director of sustainability at Santee Cooper.
“We have important work ahead,” said Vann. “Our focus will be on long-term strategic planning to expand prevention services for children and families across South Carolina. I’m honored to lead a board so deeply committed to preventing child abuse and neglect.”
