As talks begin in Washington, D.C. about a fourth round of economic relief related to the coronavirus, the national Home Visiting Coalition wants stakeholders to sign a letter by the end of April 6. It asks the U.S. Congress to prioritize funding for the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program and allow for some flexibility for home visitors during the outbreak.
On the state level, the S.C. Legislature will meet one day this week to ensure essential governmental functions will continue during the health crisis.
