Mark manages Children’s Trust’s financial operations, including financial planning, risk management and financial reporting. He leads the finance department by overseeing budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing cash flow and providing strategic financial advice to the executive team.
He is a certified public accountant (CPA), receiving his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina and master’s in business administration from Clemson University. Prior to joining Children’s Trust, Mark was the vice president/corporate controller at McLeod Health for 17 years.
Mark received the CFO of the Year Award (Group 1) at Community Health Systems and the Merit Award at McLeod Health for living the organization’s mission, vision and values. He is from Chapin, S.C.
