Children’s Trust CEO Sue Williams testified before the House Education and Public Works Early Childhood Subcommittee last week and delivered a strong message that spoke directly to her organization’s mission of preventing child abuse and neglect.
Her presentation centered on the Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program, its benchmarks and performance measures. During questioning, the importance of raising awareness about home visiting and getting additional funding was also discussed.
