Held the first Thursday of every month from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Learning Thursdays raise awareness of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and inform the public of the current events happening within Children’s Trust of South Carolina’s departments.
Home Visiting
This session will focus on Children’s Trust home visiting initiative. Home visiting is a service delivery strategy that works to improve the health and well-being of children and their families. Children’s Trust administers the federal investment in home visiting in South Carolina – the Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program. We help determine which models to use and where the need is the greatest. We work hand-in-hand with our partners, guiding them through the technical aspects of delivering evidence-based programs providing coaching and technical assistance.
Audience
This training is ideal for case managers, social workers, early childcare providers, parents, foster parents and anyone interested in learning more about this department of Children’s Trust.
