Triple P: Child Welfare System, Healthcare System, School System, Justice System.

Event information

Held the first Thursday of every month from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Learning Thursdays raise awareness of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and inform the public of the current events happening within Children’s Trust of South Carolina’s departments.

Triple P (Positive Parenting Program)

This session will focus on Triple P, also known as the Positive Parenting Program. With a generous grant from The Duke Endowment, Children’s Trust is working to activate Triple P in Georgetown, Greenville and Spartanburg counties. This work is building a model prevention system that can be replicated across South Carolina to change the state’s approach to the prevention of child maltreatment. This innovative work will give South Carolina models for county-wide, coordinated prevention systems that give a population-level approach to parenting and preventing abuse and neglect.

Audience

This training is ideal for case managers, social workers, early childcare providers, parents, foster parents and anyone interested in learning more about this department of Children’s Trust.
