Held the first Thursday of every month from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Learning Thursdays raise awareness of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and inform the public of the current events happening within Children’s Trust of South Carolina’s departments.
Communications
(CAP Month, SC Parents and more)
This session will focus on the work of the Children’s Trust of SC communications department. Throughout the year, the communications team promotes Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAP Month), which is a state-wide prevention campaign. Communications is responsible for sharing resources with parents through findhelp on the website scParents.org. We will discuss how you can get involved with CAP Month and promote resources to parents and community members.

This training is ideal for case managers, social workers, early childcare providers, parents, foster parents and anyone interested in learning more about this department of Children’s Trust.
