Child Abuse Prevention Month in South Carolina

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

Be_A_Champion_for_Children

From your neighborhood to the statehouse, we all have a role to play in preventing child abuse and neglect and helping families be strong for their children.

Children thrive when adults invest in their care and well-being and when communities wrap families in love and support. South Carolina children need us, and they need you.

Volunteer at an after-school program. Be a youth mentor. Cook dinner for a family in your neighborhood. Volunteer your time and talents to a local community organization. Advocate for family-friendly policies in your workplace. Be a voice for kids at the statehouse. Make a donation. This how you can be a champion for children.

No matter what you do, you have the power to make a difference. And, when we all do our part, we help parents be resilient in tough times, break generational cycles of abuse and ensure safety and stability for children at home.

One more case of child abuse is one too many. Join us.
